Tuition and Financial Assistance
Fee schedules for the upcoming year are posted for both day and boarding students. Upon acceptance of an offer of admission to Ashbury College, new students will be charged a one-time Enrollment Fee of $3,500 (non-refundable). This fee is not an advance of tuition payment and cannot be applied to other outstanding amounts. Enrollment fees are used to fund ongoing property and building rehabilitation. The total cost for individual students may vary depending upon their academic program and involvement in the school. Please see our Financial Handbook for complete details.
Financial Assistance Programs: Bursaries and Merit Awards
An independent school education involves a major financial commitment. Ashbury College has established a Financial Assistance Program to aid qualified students. We offer both Merit Awards and Bursaries to assist our families.
The Ashbury Bursaries are need-based and are awarded to students with demonstrated financial need who exhibit sound scholastic achievement, good character and a capacity to make a worthwhile contribution to the school. The majority of endowment funds are reserved for bursary recipients and are available for students Grades 7 - 12. The online Apple Financial Services Application Form must be completed annually and submitted directly to Apple Financial Services by November 15 for returning students in order to qualify for a bursary. Some funds are held in reserve for those applying after November 15.
Please note that families must have successfully completed the admissions process and been given an offer of enrollment prior to being considered for the Merit Awards or bursary.
Ashbury offers merit awards to select students who displaying high proficiency in a combination of academics and extra-curricular activities. Merit awards are competitive and offered to less than 5% of new students. These awards are merit based and families are not required to complete the online Apple Financial forms.
