Admissions Process
Each year we encourage students who exhibit the following characteristics to apply to Ashbury College: proven academic achievement, demonstrated commitment and involvement in a variety of co-curricular activities, a positive attitude and the motivation to succeed, leadership potential and the desire to achieve their personal best.

Ashbury's Junior School welcomes girls and boys from Grades 4 to 8, with the main entry points at Grades 4 and 7. Our Senior School, for boys and girls, enrolls day and boarding students from Grades 9 to 12, with the main entry points being Grade 9 for day students and Grade 9, 10 and 11 for boarding students.

There will be two rounds of admission for Junior and Senior School for entry in September. Please review the important admissions dates carefully.

Please note:
  • We will accept applications year round for non-entry grade. Should a place become available, the Admissions Committee will select qualified applicants and extend offers to those candidates who have completed the admissions process.
  • A student transfer from boarding to day will require a student to re-apply as a day student, where they will be considered with all other applicants. The applicant pool for day students in grades 10, 11 and 12 is extremely competitive and openings are extremely rare as the day program fills in grade 9. Day students transferring to boarding can more easily be accommodated as our intake for boarding is in grade 10 and 11. The enrollment fee and application fee do not apply to transfer students within the school. A written request to change a current student’s day or boarding status must be sent to the Admissions Office by a parent or guardian. Please contact the Admissions office for more information.
