The Impact of Giving

Over $325 000 was raised thanks to annual giving in 2010-11. The following items were purchased in the 2010-11 school year thanks to gifts to the Annual Parent Fund.

• Library software
• New soccer and rugby uniforms for the Junior School
• Two bass, a flugelhorn and new stands for the Senior School music program
• Camcorders, batteries and memory cards for the computer classes
• A MacBook, software and a video camera for the theatre classes
• New furniture for the common room in the girls’ residence
• Creation of an online historical archive of Ashbury yearbooks
• Wireless microphones for the musical program
• New couches and other furniture for student common areas in the Junior School
• Books for the Grade 4 class
• Scholarships for deserving students
• An alto sax, tenor sax, two timpani and a trumpet for the Junior School music program
• A tent for the Track and Field team
• Holy Moly straps for the physical education program
• A 3-D printer, 9 hominid skulls, hand held planetarium, rolling mill and minerals for the science program
• 7 digital cameras for the visual arts program
• Equipment for the student fitness room including cardio equipment, new benches, an incline press and more
