Bruce’s experience in Admissions began as a boarding student at Wilbraham and Monson Academy, where he was a volunteer tour guide. The opportunity to meet prospective families and students was something he enjoyed so much, it lead to career in Admissions offices throughout North America. Over the past 15 years, Bruce has spent time in New England, Mid-Western US, Southern Ontario, Western Canada and Ottawa. Away from the office, Bruce enjoys spending time with friends and family and vacationing in his home province of Prince Edward Island. A graduate of Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, IL. , Bruce describes his independent school experience as “life changing” and looks forward to assisting you with the admissions process at Ashbury College.

Barbara Saville joined Ashbury in 2006, from a long-standing role in the marketing and communications industry. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, Barb brings creative flair to her role in admissions, helping manage the office and day applications. Her extensive experience in Admissions at Ashbury is what our new families have come to value when applying. When not busy with the College, Barb can be found creating works of art, or out on Ottawa’s beautiful trails for a run, bike or ski. Barb and her husband Dave, have two great kids, ages 19 and 15.

Padme Raina joined Ashbury College in 2008 as the school renewed its commitment to Boarding with brand new state of the art residences. She insists she has the easiest job in the world as she meets and greets families who are committed to education and to giving their children a head start. Padme grew up in the Gatineau hills behind Ottawa and has a deep commitment to the bilingualism and diversity found in the Ottawa area. With a Bachelors in International Relations from UBC and a BEd from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand, Padme is well placed to spearhead the international recruitment efforts of Ashbury's Admissions department. A frequent flier, Padme has always worked internationally and enjoys the relationships established with Ashbury families around the world.

Originally from Bronx, New York, Christina grew up along the coastline of the United States, and has a Bachelor of Science from Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, New York. As lifelong learner, who deeply values quality education and learning through new experiences, the role of an international admissions officer suits her well as she is always eager to meet with our new families and students from around the world. A resident of Ottawa for over 10 years, Christina also coordinates enrichment workshops for bright and gifted children, for a charitable association in the community. A huge fan of both sports and the arts, she enjoys playing soccer, cycling, photography, writing, and especially traveling to coastal locations with her family. She is happily married and proud mom of two kids, ages 19 and 17.
