Tuition & Financial Assistance

Tuition

Fee schedules for the upcoming year are posted for both day and boarding students. Upon acceptance of an offer of admission to Ashbury College, new students will be charged a one-time initial Enrollment Fee of $2,500.00 (non-refundable). This fee is not an advance of tuition payment and cannot be applied to other outstanding amounts. Enrollment fees are used to fund ongoing property and building rehabilitation. The total cost for individual students may vary depending upon their academic program and involvement in the school. Please see our Financial Handbook (2013/2014) for complete details.

Financial Assistance Programs: Entrance Scholarships and Bursaries

An independent school education involves a major financial commitment. Ashbury College has established a Financial Assistance Program to aid qualified students. We offer both Entrance Scholarships and Bursaries to assist our families.

Entrance Scholarships

Scholarships are merit-based and are awarded to the top new applicant to Grade 4, the top two new applicants to Grade 7 and the top three new applicants to Grade 9 who rank the highest in the first round application process. Decisions are based on school reports, entrance examination results, the personal profile, confidential reference and interview.

All new applicants to Grade 4, Grade 7 and Grade 9 that meet the first round deadline are considered for the Entrance Scholarship. Please see the admissions dates for the first round application deadline.

Bursaries

The Ashbury Bursaries are need-based and are awarded to students with demonstrated financial need who exhibit sound scholastic achievement, good character and a capacity to make a worthwhile contribution to the school. The majority of endowment funds are reserved for bursary recipients and are available for students from Grades 4 - 12. The online Apple Financial Services Application Form must be completed annually and submitted directly to Apple Financial Services by November 15 for returning students in order to qualify for a bursary. Some funds are held in reserve for those applying after November 15. The cost to the family for this assessment is $90.00

Please note that families must have successfully completed the admissions process and been given an offer of enrollment prior to being considered for the Entrance Scholarship or bursary.
